TEHRAN — A 16-year-old student from Saveh, Markazi province, who died of brain death saved lives of five other patients by donating his organs, Fars reported on Tuesday.

Mohammad Pouretemadi was killed in a car accident while helping to prepare the mosque for Muharram rituals.
When brain death was confirmed by the medical team, his family agreed to donate his organs comprising his kidneys, heart valves, liver, etc. to the patients waiting in lists for transplant.
